Puja Method (Ravi Pradosh Puja Method)

Wake up in the morning and take a bath. Clean the temple thoroughly before starting the puja. Then do Jalabhishek of the idol of Lord Shiva and Shivling. Offer white flowers, Belpatra, Bhaang and Dhatura etc. Men can offer Janeu on Shivling, but women should not offer Janeu. Then make Tripund on the forehead of Lord of Gods Mahadev with white sandalwood. Light a lamp of desi ghee and offer kheer to Lord Shiva. Chant 108 names of Lord Shiva with Rudraksha rosary.

Apart from this, offer rice, sweet betel leaf, seasonal fruits to Lord Shiva . Along with this, women should offer makeup items to Goddess Parvati for good luck and happy married life. Finally complete the puja with Aarti.
