On the terrorist attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, Rahul Gandhi has said that the whole country is united in the fight against terrorism. Responding to the terrorists, he said that their audacity will never break the faith of the people. He expressed condolences to the people who lost their lives in this attack and hoped for the speedy recovery of the injured. Seven people died in the terrorist attack in Ganderbal. These include a doctor and six laborers.

Rahul Gandhi wrote on social media platform X, "The killing of many people including a doctor and migrant labourers in the terrorist attack in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir is a very cowardly and unforgivable crime. I express my deepest condolences to all the bereaved families and hope for the speedy recovery of the injured. This audacity of the terrorists will never be able to break the process of construction in Jammu and Kashmir and the trust of the people. The whole country is united in this fight against terrorism."

Nitin Gadkari also condemned it

Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari also condemned the attack. Gadkari said terrorists opened fire on the camps of workers of a private company engaged in tunnel construction in Gund area of ​​Ganderbal district. Officials said two workers died on the spot, while four other workers and a doctor died during treatment. In a post on social media platform 'X', Gadkari said "innocent workers" were engaged in an important infrastructure project in Gagangir of Sonamarg. 

Gadkari said, "I strongly condemn the horrific terrorist attack on innocent labourers in Gagangir, Sonamarg, Jammu and Kashmir, who were engaged in a vital infrastructure project." He added, "I pay my humble tributes to the martyred labourers and offer my deepest condolences to their families in this difficult time. My condolences and prayers go out for the speedy and complete recovery of the injured."
