New Delhi: In the Vijayadashmi program at the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat appealed to Hindus to be organized and strong. Referring to the recent incidents of violent attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, he said that being weak and unorganized means inviting atrocities.
Pointing to a deep international conspiracy behind the coup in Bangladesh and the subsequent incitement of anti-India sentiments, Mohan Bhagwat said that there is a need to be cautious and unitedly fight against such forces that weaken the country. Bhagwat called the West Bengal government's protection of the accused in the gruesome incident of rape in Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital a collusion between crime and politics and called it dangerous.
'Hooliganism cannot be allowed'
Referring to the violent attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and the incidents of stone pelting during Ganesh immersion in India, Mohan Bhagwat said that the only way to stop this is to unite and empower the Hindu society. Terming the incidents of stone pelting during Ganesh immersion as hooliganism, he said that no one can be allowed to indulge in hooliganism. According to Bhagwat, Hindus in Bangladesh demonstrated unity for the first time, which led to a decrease in violent attacks.
Similarly, to stop hooliganism within the country, Hindu society will have to unite and be strong. According to him, the police administration will take action against the stone pelters later, but first of all, it is our fundamental right to save our lives and the lives of our loved ones. He said that the core of Hinduism is harmony and tolerance, that is why it is also a human religion and a world religion. Mohan Bhagwat, while referring to the development taking place in India in all fields and its growing credibility in the international world, warned of the conspiracies of many world powers against it. He said that many countries, like Bangladesh, are trying to spread discontent against the government to stop India's growing dominance in the world.
'An atmosphere of distrust is being created'
For this, there is a conspiracy to convert the diversity present in the society into separation and create conflict among people. Under a well thought out strategy, an environment of distrust towards the law, government and other institutions of the country is being created. He said that such elements are running their agenda under the guise of alternative politics. This is the reason why the goodwill of the society and unity of the nation has become secondary in front of self-interest in some parties. According to Bhagwat, this is not just a story of conspiracy, but many western countries are facing its consequences. Mohan Bhagwat said that after the completion of the centenary year of its establishment, RSS will run special programs from next year to bridge the gap of social division.
According to him, social harmony and goodwill is the first condition of an organised society. But the Hindu society, a victim of strange inequality, has divided even its gods and saints. Describing the basis of social uniformity, he said that temples, water and crematoriums should be open to all. For this, he advised enlightened people and organisations of all castes to sit together and find a solution.
