After the market closed, two companies have announced their quarterly results. JSW Energy has informed in the exchange filing that there has been a decline in the business results of the third quarter (Q3). The company's profit has come down from ₹ 232.2 crores to ₹ 157.5 crores.
Similarly, earnings have also declined from ₹2,542.8 crores to ₹2,400 crores. BITDA has come down from ₹1,110.8 crores to ₹874.8 crores, while EBITDA margin has come down from 43.7% to 36.5%. This decline points to operational and market pressures.
Star Health Q3 Results Insurance sector company Star Health has revealed a decline in profit and underwriting loss in its third quarter (Q3) results. The company's profit has come down from ₹289.6 crores to ₹215.1 crores. However, net earned premium has increased from ₹3,293.6 crores to ₹3,799.7 crores, but this time there was an underwriting loss of ₹49 crores as against an underwriting profit of ₹114 crores. Operating profit has also come down from ₹281.4 crores to ₹152.5 crores. Despite the increase in premium, the company's financial position seems to be under pressure.
