UP News: A businessman from Lucknow has filed a case in Hazratganj police station. In his FIR, the businessman has alleged that due to losses in his business, he searched for an astrologer online to solve his problems. During this time, he met a person named Priya Baba online, who first asked for Rs 11000 and then transferred about Rs 65 lakh to his account in one and a half years. After a few days, the victim suspected that he had fallen into the trap of the tantrik, so when he asked for his money back, he suddenly disappeared. Feeling cheated, the victim has filed a case in this matter.

In this case, Hazratganj police has registered a case under section 173 BNS and section 66 of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act 2008. In this case, a case has been registered against the account number 09568 100014692 of Bank of Baroda located in Rajgarh Churu branch of Rajasthan. In this case, the victim has told in the complaint that his name is Hemant Kumar Rai and he runs a company in Lucknow in which he is facing huge losses since August 2023.

Priya Baba found online

Since then, he is mentally very disturbed. During this time, an employee working in his company also left the company. Someone advised him to know his fate through astrology, after which he searched for an astrologer. During this, he found an astrologer named "Priya Baba" online, whom he contacted. Priya Baba initially asked him for Rs 11000 and then said that someone has done black magic on him, the solution of which will cost a lot.

Money deposited in the account in the name of solution

The victim told that Baba took 64 lakh 65500 rupees from him in his account on different days in the name of solution. He told that after ₹11000, Baba took 39,000 from him, then took 17500 rupees, then took 1,66,000 and then talking about a big danger to the family, he got 20 lakh rupees transferred. After this, once again took 20 lakh rupees and once again 19 lakh rupees, then 3,32,000.

No response was received when I asked for the money

Despite paying so much money, the victim did not get any benefit and he started feeling that he has become a victim of online fraud. After which when he tried to ask for his money back, he did not get any reply from Baba. After that the victim has filed a case.
