Keeping in mind the problems of passengers, Ghaziabad, the second largest railway station in NCR, is being redeveloped. This station falls on the Delhi-Howrah line. You will be surprised to know that more than 400 trains pass through this station every day. Out of which more than 200 trains also stop here. Giving information, the Railway Ministry said that the construction work of Ghaziabad station is going on at a fast pace. By redeveloping Ghaziabad railway station, the people living nearby will get direct benefit.

Which four cities will get relief?
With the redevelopment of Ghaziabad railway station, people of four cities of Uttar Pradesh, Ghaziabad, Trans Hindon, Noida, and Greater Noida will get relief. People here have to go to Delhi to catch trains. Because of which people spend more money and time both. Currently, there is a lack of facilities at Ghaziabad station, due to which people go 30 to 40 km away to Delhi to catch trains. In such a situation, after the redevelopment of the station, people of these four cities will get trains from Ghaziabad station itself. Due to increase in the number of passengers, trains will also stop here.

It is estimated that the redevelopment of Ghaziabad railway station will cost around Rs 450 crore. This will be the second largest station in NCR after Delhi. Entrance gate, platform, waiting room, ticket booking room, toilet, lift, door for movement at the station, food court and other things will be constructed in the station.
