News Topical, Digital Desk : Diljit Dosanjh is in controversies these days. The reason for this is his latest film Sardar Ji 3 in which Pakistani actress Hania Aamir is seen. People are angry with Diljit Dosanjh due to the inclusion of Pakistani actress Hania in the film after the Pahalgam terrorist attack and Operation Sindoor.

Diljit and the makers of Sardar Ji 3 are being badly trolled on social media . Many celebrities are also criticizing the actor. Meanwhile, there are some celebs who are openly supporting Diljit. Screen writer Javed Akhtar is also included in this list. Recently, he gave a statement in support of Diljit and also talked about the ban of Sardar Ji 3 in India.

Javed called Diljit Dosanjh a poor guy

Javed Akhtar called Diljit a poor guy and said that he is not at fault in all this. He said that the shooting of Sardar Ji 3 was done before the Pahalgam terrorist attack. Talking to NDTV, Diljit Dosanjh said, "What can the poor guy do now? The movie was already shot. He did not know that this would happen. The money of a Pakistani man will not be lost in this. India's money will be lost. So what is the benefit?"

Government and censor board should show sympathy

Javed Akhtar further said, "If he had known this was going to happen, he would not have cast the Pakistani actress. I think the government and the censor board should show some sympathy in this matter and say don't do this again, but since you have made this film before, release it. But this should not happen again."

Sardar Ji 3 also released in Pakistan

After the Pahalgam terror attack and Operation Sindoor, Instagram accounts of Pakistani celebrities were blocked in India. Just two months after this incident, Diljit Dosanjh released the trailer of Sardar Ji 3 in which Hania Aamir's presence created a ruckus. This film was released overseas except in India. Sardar Ji 3 has even been released in Pakistan.
