The government has also indicated to bring about 16 bills like Wakf Amendment, One Nation-One Election during the session. There is already a conflict with the major opposition parties regarding Wakf, One Nation-One Election Bill.

Meanwhile, the winter session of Parliament is starting from Monday in the shadow of the assembly elections of Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and by-elections in many states, which will continue till December 20. The work of the session was discussed in the all-party meeting held on Sunday for the smooth conduct of the Parliament session.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that the government has listed about 16 bills for the session. These include the Waqf Amendment Bill and the Punjab Court Amendment Bill. Along with this, a bill related to One Nation-One Election can also be brought during the session. The government has already given indications of this.

Rijiju said that the government is ready to discuss all issues as per the rules. It does not want the time of the House to be wasted. Meanwhile, the JCP constituted under the leadership of Jagdambika Pal on the Wakf Amendment Bill will also submit its report on the last day of the first week of the session.
However, the opposition has demanded to extend the time given to JPC. The opposition parties also placed their demands before the government during the session. Deputy Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi prominently raised the demand to hold a discussion on the bribery charges against Adani. He also demanded a discussion on Manipur violence, dangerous conditions of air pollution in North India and railway accidents.

Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Pramod Tiwari said that the way Adani has been accused of paying a bribe of Rs 2000 crore to get work done in America is serious. The government should discuss this issue and expose all the people who took the bribe. Also, Adani should be arrested immediately.
42 leaders from 30 parties including Congress participated in the all-party meeting called by the government regarding the Parliament session. These included BJP President JP Nadda, Congress leaders Gaurav Gogoi, Pramod Tiwari and Jairam Ramesh, besides T Shiva, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Anupriya Patel etc.
