Lahore. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday leveled serious allegations against some sitting judges. Shahbaz called the judges 'black sheep' for giving relief to jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan in various cases.

Addressing the General Council meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Shahbaz said that some 'black sheep' present in the judiciary are bent on giving relief to Imran. They are engaged in saving Imran Niazi in the scams of 190 billion pounds and other cases. Plans are being made on how to give bail to Imran in some cases.

A tussle has erupted between the military establishment and the judiciary after six judges of the Islamabad High Court wrote a letter to Pakistan Supreme Court Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa. The judges have urged Chief Justice Isa to take up the matter of interference by the country's intelligence agencies in getting the desired verdicts in various cases, especially those related to Imran.
