The bus was targeted
Baloch rebels carried out this attack on a highway in Noshki, Balochistan. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack and has also released a video of it. In the video, a cloud of smoke can be seen coming out of a bus after an explosion.
A Pakistani police official briefed on the attack said evidence at the scene suggested a suicide bomber had rammed a vehicle packed with explosives into the convoy.
According to a report by news agency PTI, the police officer said, "After the explosion, some other terrorists opened fire on the FC personnel. But in the retaliatory fire, two terrorists were killed. Three soldiers and two civilians were also killed in the attack."
The train was hijacked for 36 hours
Before this attack, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) had hijacked the Jaffar Express train in Quetta. Army personnel along with common people were held hostage for 36 hours.
Let us tell you, the Balochistan Liberation Army is the strongest rebel group active in Balochistan bordering Iran and Afghanistan. Balochistan is fighting for independence and such groups often attack security personnel here.
