
Pakistan security forces have killed four Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists during an operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pakistan security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Kaulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan, reports ARY News. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the troops killed four TTP terrorists during the operation.
On Thursday, a Pakistan Army major and a soldier were killed during a North Waziristan intelligence-based operation. In this operation, security forces killed six TTP terrorists. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Soldiers killed six terrorists
According to ARY News report, the troops fired on the TTP location and killed six terrorists, while two people were reported dead including Major Hamza Israr, 29, and Sepoy Muhammad Naeem, 26. The ISPR further said that the security forces are determined to wipe out the terrorists. The threat of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
Earlier on January 24, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) had announced that security forces had successfully killed six terrorists who were trying to infiltrate into Balochistan's Zhob district from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Terrorists trying to infiltrate Pakistan-Afghanistan border
According to the ISPR, "On the night of January 22/23, the movement of a group of Khawarij who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border was intercepted by security forces in the general area of Sambaja, Zhob district." The term "Khawarij" refers to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
