Mohammad Yunus had commented on the Northeast state
Let us tell you that Mohammad Yunus' love for Pakistan and China is well known. Before his Thailand tour, Mohammad Yunus had visited China for four days. There, he had made controversial remarks about India's northeastern state, which India had strongly opposed.
A video of him is going viral in which he advocated the expansion of the Chinese economy. He not only described the northeastern states as landlocked but also said that Bangladesh is the only guardian of the sea in this region. Indian leaders strongly condemned this statement of Mohammad Yunus.
