Most adults need 7-9 hours of sleep a night. If you feel like you're not getting enough sleep, talk to your doctor.

 

Tips for better sleep

  • Fix sleep cycle – Try going to bed and getting up at the same time every night.
  • Quiet environment- Keep your room quiet, dark and cool before sleeping.
  • Digital Devices – Avoid using mobile phones, tablets, and computers before bedtime.
  • Caffeine and Alcohol – Avoid drinking caffeine and alcohol before bedtime.
  • Exercise- Exercise regularly, but not just before bedtime.
  • Stress Management- Use meditation, yoga or other techniques to reduce stress.
