New Delhi. Canada had made several baseless allegations against India in the case of murder of pro-Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Now the Indian government has given a befitting reply to the Canadian PM. India has now said that it will take action in response to Canada's efforts to make allegations against Indian diplomats.

Rejecting Canada's absurd allegations, India said that it is not going to listen to any of Canada's allegations. The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement saying that the allegations against the High Commissioner of being a 'person of interest' in the murder investigation are absolutely 'absurd'.

Canada had made this allegation

In fact, this statement came when Canada allegedly described Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma as having a 'personal interest' in the investigation of Nijjar's death.

India retaliated

India immediately hit back, accusing Canada of defaming its officials without evidence and making "absurd" claims to justify its failure to prevent Khalistani extremism on its soil.
