During this, the Air Force Chief said that it is necessary to have indigenous weapon systems to deal with any future security challenge. China is rapidly building on the LAC
Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal A P Singh also mentioned China in the press conference. He said that China is rapidly building infrastructure on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). China is doing this work especially in the Ladakh sector.
Update given on S-400 as well
Responding to a question in the press conference, the Air Force Chief said that Russia has supplied three units of S-400 missile system to India. Russia has promised to supply the remaining two units of S-400 by next year.
