UP News: A case of extortion of one lakh rupees by two policemen posted at Narhi police station in Ballia, UP has come to light, after which there has been a stir. Taking action in this case, the SP has suspended both the policemen and sent the accused to jail after registering a case on the complaint of the victim. This is the same Narhi police station where the case of illegal extortion of lakhs of rupees from trucks daily by the policemen was also in the headlines recently.

It is being told that Rudal Yadav, a resident of Bharouli in Narhi police station area, was grazing buffaloes in the garden of his village on November 25. Then constables Kaushal Paswan and Rishilal Bind posted at the police station picked up Rudal Yadav and brought him to the police station. It is alleged that here they locked Rudal Yadav in a room and threatened him and collected one lakh rupees to release him. After which he was released.  

Both suspended in extortion case 
Victim Rudal complained about the entire matter to SP Vikrant Veer. When the SP got the matter investigated by the Circle Officer, the complaint was found to be true. After this, the SP suspended both these constables with immediate effect and filed a case on the complaint of the victim and sent both the constables to jail. 

Rudal says that when he was grazing his buffalo, two constables came and asked him where is your brother, there is a case against him. Saying this, they picked him up and took him to the police station and started demanding money from him. When they hit him with a stick, he sent one lakh rupees from his mobile to the number of the person told by them, after which they let him go from the police station.
 
SP took action on the complaint of the victim.
Giving information on this, SP Vikrant Veer said that a case came to light under the Narhi police station of Ballia district, where Rudal Yadav, a resident of Bharouli, has alleged that 2 constables working at Narhi police station, Kaushal Paswan and Rishilal Bind, picked him up from the field and extorted money by threatening him. On this information, an immediate investigation was conducted by the Circle Officer Sadar. In the investigation, prima facie involvement of both the constables was found, after which they were suspended. A case has been registered on the complaint of the victim and further action is being taken.
