ACP Sukanya Sharma: Suddenly a call came to the police control room in Agra at night. There was a woman on the phone, who asked for help from the police. The woman said that she is alone on a deserted road, there is no means to go there, can she get help. Immediate action was taken on the woman's call and the control room team reached in 9 minutes and then what was found left the police stunned. In front was Agra's ACP Sukanya Sharma, who had come out to check the safety of women at night. 

How is the safety of women in the Taj city of Agra at night? To check whether the police performs its responsibility properly or not, ACP Sukanya Sharma herself went out in plain clothes in the dark of the night. Wearing a white T-shirt and black jeans, she rode an auto and roamed alone on the streets of Agra. During this time, she called the police control room dial 112 and asked for help. 

As per the rules, if you are stranded at a place where you cannot get a vehicle between 10 pm and 6 am, then women can ask for help from the police. To check this, she called the police control room at
11.30 pm and like a common woman said that I am at a deserted place, please help me. After which the control room replied that don't worry, help is coming. 

The control room asked for her location and asked where she wanted to go. She replied that she was going to Agra Cantt Railway Station. After this, a voice came from there saying that you stay there, help is reaching there. After the call, help reached there within just 9 minutes. When the police team reached there, they were surprised to see ACP Women Crime Sukanya Sharma in front of them. 

During this time, ACP Sukanya not only rode in an auto in plain clothes,
but also inquired from the auto driver about the problems faced by women and girls. During this, ACP Sukanya Sharma asked the auto driver, why did you not wear a uniform and a name plate? What things do you keep in mind when a woman passenger sits in the auto?

During this, the ACP said that he had asked for help on dial 112, on which he got help within 9 minutes. It was good to see the timely help of the police team.
