A boat full of passengers capsized in the sea near Mumbai's famous Gateway of India. So far, one person has been reported dead in this incident. In this case, the owner of the sunken boat, Rajendra Padte, has alleged that a Navy ship had hit his boat. He said that the boat can seat 84 people and 80 people were sitting. Officially, 80 passengers and 5 crew members were on the boat. On the boat accident, Shiv Sena UBT leader Aditya Thackeray, while talking to India TV, said that he has spoken to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. I have said that there will be an investigation in this matter, but the first priority is to save people's lives.
How did the accident happen?
On how the Neelkamal boat sank or how this accident happened in the middle of the sea and how the lives of the people were saved immediately, local BJP MLA from Uran, Mahesh Baldi said that around 3:30 in the afternoon, the Neelkamal boat left Mumbai for Elephanta in Uran. A Navy speed boat was patrolling on the way in the middle of the sea. The driver of the patrolling boat lost control and collided with the Neelkamal boat full of passengers. He told that when this accident happened, my friend Ajay Koli, who was in another boat, immediately took his boat near this sinking boat and saved the lives of the passengers in the Neelkamal boat. Therefore, the loss of life has been reduced. Also, some people are still missing, the search for whom is going on.
