Noida Aqua Line Corridor: The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh on Friday approved the expansion of the Aqua Line Metro Corridor in Noida. After which the people living in Noida and Greater Noida will benefit and the connectivity of the city will increase. The government has approved the DPR submitted for the proposed 17.435 km long extension from Noida Sector-51 Metro Station to Greater Noida Knowledge Park V (Greater Noida). 

A cabinet meeting was held in Lucknow on Friday under the chairmanship of CM Yogi Adityanath , in which a decision was taken regarding the expansion of Noida's Aqua Line. The government said in a statement that the cabinet has approved the DPR presented in connection with the proposed expansion of 17.435 km length from Sector-51 (Noida) station to Greater Noida Knowledge Park V (Greater Noida) in the Aqua Line Metro Corridor. 

Yogi government has given approval.
This project will cost Rs 2991.60 crore. Both the centre and the state will participate in this. Giving information about this, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that 11 new metro stations will be built in the Aqua Line Corridor from Noida Sector 51 to Greater Noida Knowledge Park-5. This will make connectivity between Noida and Greater Noida easier and improve the transport system. 

Under the scheme, 11 new stations will be built between Noida and Greater Noida. This line will go through
Noida Sector 51, Noida Sector 61, Noida Sector 70, Noida Sector 122, Noida Sector 123, Group Noida Sector 4, Eco Tech 12, Grade Noida Sector 2, Group Noida Sector 3, Grade Noida Sector 10, Grade Noida Sector 12 to Greater Noida Knowledge Park 5. 

The Aqua Line will connect to the DMRC Blue Line via Noida Sector 61 Metro Station. This will benefit passengers coming from Noida, Greater Noida West and Delhi. The new corridor will reduce traffic pressure on the roads from Noida to DND.
