Realty company Godrej Properties has purchased six new land parcels in the July-September quarter to develop a housing project worth Rs 9,650 crore as part of its expansion plan amid growing demand. To expand the housing business, Godrej Properties acquires land through direct purchase, as well as partnerships with landowners for joint development.
Added 8 new land parcels In its latest operations update for the July-September quarter, Godrej Properties said it has added 8 new land parcels in the first six months of this financial year, with a total estimated saleable area of approximately 11 million sq ft and a total estimated booking value capacity of approximately Rs 12,650 crore. This includes addition of 6 new land parcels in the second quarter of this financial year, with an estimated booking value of Rs 9,650 crore. Achieved 63% of annual guidance Godrej Properties said it has already achieved 63% of its annual guidance for new business development (land acquisition). "Our business development addition of Rs 12,650 crore in April-September will ensure that we continue to have a strong launch pipeline not only for the current year but also for the years to come," said Gaurav Pandey, MD and CEO, Godrej Properties. On Friday, the company's stock closed at Rs 3,015 with a gain of 0.020 per cent. The company's stock has seen a gain of 77.21 per cent in the last one year.
