Ghaziabad News Today: Last Tuesday, a robbery of crores of rupees took place at the house of a steel businessman in a VVIP area in Ghaziabad. In this case, the police has arrested the fourth accused on Monday (13 January). Earlier, the police had already arrested three accused. 

After this incident, the police was continuously engaged in taking action. The police has arrested the fourth accused from Madhubani in Bihar. The police has recovered cash and silver coins from his possession. According to the police, now 100 percent recovery has been done. 

According to the police, only four people were involved in carrying out the robbery at the steel businessman's house. The main accused in this incident was the businessman's domestic servant, who along with his friends carried out the robbery for his sister's wedding.

In this regard, ACP Abhishek Srivastava said that on Tuesday night, RD Gupta, who lives in Kavi Nagar area, was held hostage at gunpoint and the robbery was committed. The miscreants robbed goods worth about Rs 2 crore including cash and jewellery. The crime
was committed by his domestic servant Chandan.

Kavi Nagar ACP Abhishek Srivastava said that the main accused had involved his friends Chandan, Omprakash and Sunil who worked in other houses. The police have already arrested the domestic servants and main conspirators Chandan, Omprakash and Sunil. He said that the fourth absconding accused Chandan has been arrested by the police from Madhubani in Bihar. The police have recovered Rs 3 lakh 45 thousand and 47 silver coins from his possession.

Robbery was done for sister's wedding
According to ACP Abhishek Srivastava, the main accused told the police during interrogation that he had committed the robbery for his sister's wedding. He knew that the CCTV cameras of the house were off and only the elderly couple was in the house. According to the police, after the arrest of the fourth accused Chandan, all the four people involved in the crime have been arrested, and all the goods looted in the robbery have been recovered.
