• Before Ganesh Visarjan, worship Lord Ganesha in the proper manner.

• After this, fill pure water in a clean vessel, if you are unable to go to a holy river or if you are unable to go to the river for some reason. Then add Gangajal, flowers, perfume, etc. to the water and chant mantras.
• Pray to Bappa for his return next year and take his blessings and say your prayers.
• Immerse them slowly in water while chanting praises of Vighnaharta .
