Washington. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Italy to attend the G7 Outreach Summit on June 14. US President Joe Biden and Prime Minister Narendra Modi may meet on the sidelines of the G-7 summit in Italy. US National Security Advisor (NSA) Jack Sullivan gave this information on Wednesday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that I have reached Italy to participate in the summit. I am looking forward to engaging in meaningful discussions with world leaders. Together, we aim to address global challenges and promote international cooperation for a brighter future.

Sullivan, who is going to attend the G-7 summit with Joe Biden, said this while talking to reporters on Air Force One. He said that it is expected that Joe Biden will meet Prime Minister Modi. The formal confirmation of his presence depends on the Indian side, but we hope that both will get an opportunity to meet each other.

Sullivan told reporters that while Joe Biden was in Paris, he congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the phone for his third consecutive victory.

Responding to a question on allegations related to the involvement of an Indian official in a plot to assassinate a Sikh separatist leader, Sullivan said that the US will continue to raise this matter at the highest level. We have conveyed our views on this issue and it will be an ongoing topic of discussion between the US and India, including at senior levels.

Meanwhile, India's Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for Italy on Thursday on his first foreign tour after assuming office for the third time. Italy has invited India to participate in the G-7 summit on June 14. During this, Prime Minister Modi will also meet Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni
