During the conversation, he said that the Punjab government is getting a report prepared from the Canal Department through the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts regarding the availability of sufficient water in the state.The patwaris of the canal department are preparing this report. The patwaris are also opposing it. In this report, the government is getting it written that 100 percent of the farms in the state are getting water supply from the canal. The state has more than enough canal water. Only canal water is being used for irrigation in the farms.

Channi claims- the state's side will be weak

When this report is presented in the Supreme Court, the state's case in the Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal case will be weakened. This is the conspiracy of the AAP government that the state loses the case in the Supreme Court. Channi said that he is against giving even a drop of water of the state to other states. He will fight a full battle for this. There is a shortage of water in Punjab and if this continues, the situation of Punjab can also become like Rajasthan.

Channi said that Congress has no alliance with AAP in the state. I have been opposing AAP in the state earlier and will continue to do so in future. What the leaders of Haryana and Delhi think depends on them. AAP government has worsened the situation in the state. We will openly oppose AAP in Lok Sabha and everywhere. AAP will face a crushing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections in the state.
