Beirut: Fierce fighting continues between the Israeli army and Hezbollah fighters in the southern region of Lebanon. The Israeli army has claimed to have killed 15 fighters in Thursday's fighting. While seven Hezbollah workers, including two health workers, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in Beirut.

Attack on Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters

The Israeli army said on Thursday it had attacked Hezbollah's intelligence headquarters in the Lebanese capital. According to Lebanon's health ministry, Israeli bombing has killed more than 1,000 people and forced hundreds of thousands to flee their homes in a country already reeling from economic and political crisis.

Nasrallah's son-in-law killed

Israel has also carried out missile attacks in Dahiye, a suburb of Beirut, the stronghold of Hezbollah. A total of 46 people have been killed in Israeli attacks at various places in Lebanon. Hezbollah's rocket attacks are also continuing in Israel. The son-in-law of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah is reported to have been killed in an Israeli air strike in the Syrian capital Damascus.

An Israeli drone has attacked an arsenal near a Russian airbase in Syria's Jableh city. The Lebanese army has also fired back at the Israeli army after a soldier was killed in an Israeli attack in a ground battle in southern Lebanon. This is the first case of clash between the armies of the two countries in the one-year-long war.

Question mark on peace building in West Asia

Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani has said that Israel's attack on Lebanon should stop. He said that peace cannot be established in West Asia without the formation of an independent Palestinian state. Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian, who was present with him in Doha, said that keeping silent in the face of Israel's warmongering would prove disastrous for the region.

Drone attack on Tel Aviv

He said that our army will give a befitting reply if there is an attack by the Israeli army or any terrorist act or if the red line is crossed. Iran-backed third armed group Houthi also carried out a drone attack on Israel's economic capital Tel Aviv on Thursday but it was foiled by the Israeli defense system. The Israeli army has asked the public to move away from the fighting areas in Lebanon.
