Security forces have killed four suspected terrorists after firing at a police vehicle on Saturday night on Quetta-Sibi Road in Quetta, the capital of Pakistan's restive Balochistan province.
Balochistan's Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) said that after opening fire on the police vehicle, they located four terrorists and later killed all four in an encounter.
A senior CTD official said that late on Saturday night, four terrorists riding two motorcycles had attacked a police vehicle patrolling in the Shal Kot area on the Quetta-Sibi road, but the policemen narrowly missed him as the soldiers were semi-armoured. -Hair saved.
He further said that after the attack by the terrorists, the police started retaliating, in which one terrorist was killed on the spot. While other terrorists fled to a nearby building. Police surrounded the building and called additional security forces. After this, the CTD team started the operation.
CTD spokesperson said that the terrorists were asked to surrender, but they opened fire on the police team. After this, the CTD team entered the building and killed three terrorists in an encounter.
