Method of making Gum Laddoo
Material:
- Gum - 100 grams
- Dry fruits (almonds, cashews, raisins) - 100 grams
- Ghee - 100 grams
- Wheat flour - 250 grams
- Sugar – 200 grams
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried ginger powder – 1/4 tsp
Method:
- Heat ghee in a pan, add gum and fry it till it turns golden.
- Lightly fry the dry fruits in a separate pan.
- Roast the wheat flour in a pan till it turns light golden.
- Mix roasted gum, dry fruits, flour, sugar, cardamom powder and dry ginger powder in a vessel.
- Add ghee little by little to this mixture, mix it well and then make small laddus.
- Cool the laddus and store them in an airtight container.
