New Delhi. Nishant Pitti, CEO of travel company EaseMyTrip, has told the Congress on the recent controversy over booking of flights to Maldives that some bookings were done between May 16 and May 26, but the company cancelled them immediately.
In January this year, in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, EasyMyTrip company made headlines on Internet MediaX by announcing that it would not take bookings for Maldives. But recently, when cases of bookings from Indian tourists for Maldives came to light, Kerala Congress had raised objections.
Ezmitrip's nationalistic thinking will never change
Responding to these allegations, the company's CEO Pitti said on X that EaseMyTrip's nationalistic thinking will never change. Recently, some screenshots were going viral on the Internet, in which bookings for going to Maldives were visible on EaseMyTrip's website. After this, the company was asked whether it has changed its decision regarding Maldives.

When questioned, the company's CEO Nishant Pitti claimed that travel portals bought by China give more importance to Maldives. We have been serving in this industry for 16 years without any foreign investment. It is worth mentioning that EasyMyTrip has not been taking bookings for Maldives since January. This decision has been taken after hearing that three Maldivian ministers made derogatory comments on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
