Bhadohi News Today: In Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, four unknown attackers stabbed an e-rickshaw driver in broad daylight for not paying goonda tax and extortion money. The attackers fled after robbing the loan money and mobile phone kept with the e-rickshaw driver.
The e-rickshaw driver was seriously injured in this attack, who was immediately admitted to the hospital by the local people and family members. Police also reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. After inspecting the spot, the police has started searching for the attackers. However, the senior police officials clearly refused to talk on camera in this regard.
The whole incident took place near Gangapur canal near National Inter College under Bhadohi Kotwali area. Where four unidentified miscreants kidnapped a driver named Neeraj Gautam (18) at knife point for not paying goonda tax for driving an e-rickshaw on the road.
The
miscreants kidnapped the victim e-rickshaw driver and took him to the canal and attacked him with a knife. The miscreants fled waving the knife leaving the victim in a dying condition. While leaving, they looted the victim's phone and Rs. 6000 that he had kept for depositing the loan installment.
This incident which happened in broad daylight created panic in the area. Injured e-rickshaw driver Neeraj Gautam said that four people started demanding 10 rupees in the name of goonda tax for driving the e-rickshaw on the road. The victim said that when he refused to pay and protested, he was attacked with a knife.
Injured Neeraj said that he had kept money to pay the loan of the e-rickshaw, the miscreants looted that money and mobile. Neeraj said that he is very poor, after he gets injured, it will be difficult for the family to earn a living.
'Neeraj has not suffered any serious injuries'
Doctor VK Maurya of Maharaja Balwant Singh Hospital (MBS) said that the Bhadohi police and family members brought an injured youth named Neeraj Gautam for first aid and he was given proper treatment.
Dr Maurya said that the young man was soaked in blood and there were knife marks on his body. His medical examination has been done and a report has been given to the police and the injured Neeraj did not have serious injuries. Therefore, he has been sent home after primary treatment.
Case filed against four unknown people
Bhadohi Sadar Kotwali in-charge Ashwani Tripathi told on phone that the incident happened on the afternoon of 13th November. In this case, on the complaint of the family, a case has been filed against unknown youths in Sadar Kotwali and further legal action is being taken. In-charge SHO told that the condition of the injured youth is fine and the unknown attackers are being searched.
