Delhi AQI Today: People in the country's capital Delhi got some relief from pollution for two days, but now this period is about to end. On Monday morning, the level of pollution in many areas of Delhi was recorded in the severe category. 

According to the Meteorological Department, the speed of the winds has slowed down once again since Saturday afternoon. Due to this, pollution has also started increasing. By Sunday, the pollution level may rise again and become very bad. In such a situation, this period of relief of two days is now over.

On Monday morning, Delhi recorded 469 temperatures in ITI Jahangirpur, 459 in Pooth Khurd, 431 in Bawana Industrial Area, 428 in Narela, 390 in Rohin Sector 30, 379 in New Sarup Nagar, 377 in Loni, 366 in Prashant Vihar, 360 in DIT, 345 in Alipur, 332 in Major Dhyanchand Stadium, 324 in Anand Vihar, 322 in Kohat Enclave, 314 in Kalkaji, 304 in Lajpat Nagar, 304 in New Friends Colony, 301 in Okhla Phase II, which falls in the very severe and serious category.  

After improvement, the mood of the weather changed again 

Due to favorable winds in Delhi, the air quality improved on Saturday morning. However, even then the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in the 'poor' category. According to the data of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index in Delhi was recorded at 227 at 9 am on Saturday. Whereas on Friday morning it was 281. The 24-hour average AQI till 4 pm on Friday was recorded at 270.

According to Delhi's Air Quality Early Warning System (EWS), favourable winds are expected for the next one or two days, but due to unfavourable weather conditions, pollution levels may rise again in two-three days, while the AQI may even reach 400 by October 31.

temperature higher than normal

The Meteorological Department has predicted clear skies in Delhi on Sunday and the maximum temperature will be around 34 and the minimum temperature will be around 19 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, the maximum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 33 degrees, which is one degree more than normal. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 18.6 degrees Celsius, which is one degree more than the average temperature of this season. According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity level in Delhi was recorded at 68 percent at 8.30 am.
