News Topical, Digital Desk : What began as a minor altercation in Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin area turned deadly when four drunken youths clashed with a man. An innocent man paid the price for this altercation with his life. A dispute over urinating escalated into a serious fight within minutes, and Kuldeep , a 27-year-old car passenger, was brutally murdered.
This sensational murder was completely blind , with no eyewitnesses or direct leads. Despite this, within just 24 hours, Delhi Police solved the mystery of this sensational murder, arresting four accused , including three minors . Police recovered the deceased's stolen car, blood-stained clothing worn at the time of the crime, and the knife used in the murder. The arrested accused has been identified as Imran alias Panwadi (19).
The body found under Barapula shook the police department
According to a police officer, on the morning of December 3rd, police received a PCR call informing them that the body of a young man was lying under the Barapullah flyover . The team arrived at the scene and began investigating and identified the deceased as Kuldeep alias Ram Singh, a resident of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Given the gravity of the matter , a case was registered under murder charges at the Hazrat Nizamuddin police station. Since it was a completely " blind case," a joint team of Special Staff, Special Task Force (STF) , Narcotics Squad , and Sarai Kale Khan outpost police was immediately formed.
Scanning 500 CCTV cameras yielded the first major clue.
The joint team scanned over 500 CCTV footage from the area . Meanwhile, CCTV footage from a public toilet near the Jain temple in Bhogal revealed suspicious activity. This footage provided a new direction for the case. Using technical surveillance and human intelligence, the police were able to identify the suspects seen in the footage . Subsequently, the police arrested the main accused, Imran alias Panwadi (19), and his three minor accomplices. Imran had previously been involved in three cases of snatching and theft and turned out to be the main suspect in this murder.
Four drunk friends committed the crime together.
Police investigation revealed that the four accused were heading towards India Gate after celebrating Imran 's birthday. When they saw Kuldeep urinating near his car in the Bhogal area, an argument broke out. In a drunken state, the accused became enraged and attacked Kuldeep , killing him and fleeing with his car.
