According to a statement shared by Pranit More's team, after his show, a group of 10 to 12 people approached him, initially posing as fans, for a selfie. After the crowd dispersed, they allegedly began punching and kicking him, injuring him.

The attackers reportedly told Pranit, "Next time, don't try to joke about Veer Pahadia." This made it clear that the attack was carried out in retaliation for a joke made about the actor. Based on a complaint from the owner of the restaurant where the incident occurred, a case was registered against 10 to 12 people in Solapur, Maharashtra.
