Ghaziabad.  A mini bus full of passengers going from Bijnor to Delhi airport met with an accident after colliding with a truck on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.

The accident happened at 3:30 am in Mussoorie police station area, in which 14 passengers travelling in the bus were injured. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

According to the police, more than 15 passengers were going to IGI Airport in Delhi in a mini bus from Jeetpur village of Nagina tehsil of Bijnor to go for Haj.

The accident happened three kilometers before Hawa-Hawai restaurant

The bus collided with a truck moving ahead of it just three kilometers before the Hawa Hawa restaurant located on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway. The bus crashed in the accident and 14 passengers were injured. On receiving the information about the accident, police and ambulance reached the spot.

Program Manager of the ambulance service, Jaiwinder Singh, said that upon receiving information about the accident, three ambulances were sent to the spot and the injured were taken to the hospital.

Bus driver Zahid, passengers Idris, Sabina, Azim, Mainujaddin have been admitted to Modinagar CHC and Naheena, Salim, Arif, Waris, Tasleem, Salim, Azim, Istiqar have been admitted to Dasna CHC. Police say that a report will be filed on the basis of complaint.
