Today we will tell you about Saharanpur district of West UP, where 16 criminals have been sentenced in one month for crimes against women. The special thing is that five of them have been sentenced to life imprisonment and six have been sentenced to 20 years. The cases are being pleaded in the court under Operation Conviction.

Five convicts get life imprisonment in gangrape case

In Saharanpur district, 16 accused of crimes against women have been sentenced by the court in one month. The biggest thing among these is that five accused of gangraping a student have been sentenced to life imprisonment. Along with this, six have been sentenced to 20 years in different cases. Whereas, three have been sentenced to 10 years. Whereas, two accused have been sentenced to less than 10 years.

The government is completely serious about the safety of women. Strict action is being taken especially in crimes against girl students. Along with this, separate teams have been formed to plead cases in the court. Cases related to women are being identified and pleaded under Operation Conviction. The police have also identified some other cases. These include the case of rape of a seven-year-old girl in Qutubsher, rape and murder of a five-year-old innocent girl in Gagalhedi.
