
Himachal Pradesh News: A letter on Himachal's Chief Minister Sukh Ashray and Sukh Shiksha Yojana has increased the controversy. The letter allegedly talked about financial help from temples for both the schemes. After the letter was issued to the District Deputy Commissioners, the BJP openly protested. Soon the matter started making headlines at the national level. After the controversy increased, the state government has again gone on the back foot.
Journalists questioned Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri who arrived at Mandi Shivratri fair. He gave clarification in a harsh tone. He said that money has not been taken from temples for the schemes of the state government. He said that money will not be taken from temples for government schemes in future also. Targeting BJP, the Deputy Chief Minister accused them of misleading the people of the state.
Controversy over financial help from temples for government schemes
On the release of the notification, the Deputy Chief Minister clarified that the government is not taking financial help from temples. He said that 36 temples come under the government. Only 4-5 temples are in a good financial condition. The financial condition of other temples is not even going to help. In such a situation, we want to clarify that the government has a budget for the schemes and no help will be taken from temples.
BJP leaders have problem even with going to Maha Kumbh- Agnihotri
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri taunted that BJP has a problem even with Congress leaders going to Maha Kumbh. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh and State Congress President Pratibha Singh had reached Maha Kumbh. BJP raised questions on the visit of Congress leaders to Maha Kumbh . He asked whether the hearts of BJP leaders are clean. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri said that Congress leaders are also religious. In such a situation, BJP should stop spreading lies among the public.
