How is Chhath festival celebrated
Every year, Chhath festival begins with Nahai Khaai. On this day, women take bath in a pond or river. After this, they perform Puja and eat satvik food. The next day, Kharna Puja is performed, which is considered the beginning of the fast. This fast is observed without water. On the day of Kharna, kheer made of jaggery and rice is made. The next day, fast is observed and Arghya is offered to the setting sun. On the last day, it is customary to offer Arghya to the rising sun.
