Chardham Yatra: Helicopters will fly from Jolly Grant to two Dhams from May 2, booking up to 70%, know the schedule and fare

For the Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra, helicopters will also fly from Jolly Grant carrying devotees. This will save a lot of time for devotees coming from other states like UP, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana etc. Apart from this, devotees will also be able to visit the Dhams easily.

Helicopter bookings for the two holy places Badrinath and Kedarnath from Jolly Grant have reached 70 percent till June 20. Rudraksh Aviation has completed 70 percent bookings till June 20. The company's MI 17 double engine helicopter will reach Jolly Grant helipad on May 2. The doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri will open on April 30 on Akshaya Tritiya, Kedarnath on May 2 and Badrinath on May 4.

Helicopter will fly from May 2

From May 2, the helicopter will take off from Jolly Grant with a total of 20 devotees. After visiting two Dhams, the same number of devotees will return to Jolly Grant. The company's schedule will also have the facility of darshan of two Dhams in one day and night stay. Due to increase in royalty, this time there has been a slight increase in the fare per devotee. According to the company officials, booking of both the Dhams from Jolly Grant is being done only till June 20. After that, the helicopter service will be stopped when the rainy season starts.

How much is the fare per passenger?

After the state government increased the royalty and landing charges, the helicopter company has increased the fare per passenger for the two Dhams. This time, the fare per passenger for the journey to the two Dhams from Jolly Grant by Rudraksh Aviation's MI 17 will be Rs 1 lakh 21 thousand (return in the same day) and Rs 1 lakh 41 thousand (return after night stay).
