Chardham Yatra 2024: There is a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees for the Chardham Yatra of Uttarakhand. Lakhs of people from across the country are registering for Chardham Yatra. This year, more than 12 lakh devotees have registered for Chardham Yatra in just one week, breaking last year's record. Last year, more than 4 lakh pilgrims had registered for Chardham in a week, and this time more than 12.48 lakh pilgrims have registered. Registration for Chardham Yatra is still going on and in the coming days, the devotees registering for Chardham can break all the previous records. Anyway, this time there is a possibility of an increase in the number of pilgrims for the Chardham Yatra.

Registration started on 15th April, the highest for Kedarnath

The Tourism Department had started registration on April 15 for the convenience of the devotees coming from all over the country and the world for the Chardham Yatra. According to the report of the Tourism Department, till now 12.48 lakh travelers have registered. Maximum registrations have been done for Kedarnath. 4,22,129 pilgrims have registered for Kedarnath Dham, 3,56,716 for Badrinath Dham, 2,31,983 for Gangotri, 2,19,619 for Yamunotri and 17,684 for Hemkund Sahib.
More than one lakh pilgrims have registered for the pilgrimage to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri , and Hemkund Sahib on Sunday. It is noteworthy that this year Chardham Yatra will start on May 10. The doors of Kedarnath, Gangotri , and Yamunotri are opening on 10th May and the doors of Badrinath are opening on 12th May.
