News Topical, Digital Desk : The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has reacted to the meeting between Samajwadi Party national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's great-grandson. BSP UP unit president Vishwanath Pal said it would make no difference.
Speaking to reporters in Lakhimpur, he said, "Is it necessary for someone from our family to carry on our ideology? No one is going to make any move. Baba Kanshi Ram gave us the Bahujan Samaj Party symbol, and he has appointed Mayawati as his successor."
SP has harmed the Bahujans – Vishwanath Pal
The BSP leader said, "We are going to gather our workers and work to make Mayawati the Chief Minister in 2027. The SP has done great harm to the people of the Bahujan Samaj. How will they advance this ideology?"
After Raj Ratan Ambedkar joined Akhilesh Yadav, various political parties are speculating. Sources suggest that the SP is attempting to weaken the BSP's vote bank in Uttar Pradesh by using the pretext of meeting Raj Ratan Ambedkar.
What did Baba Saheb's great grandson say in the SP program?
Dr. Rajratan Ambedkar, great-grandson of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, said that the beauty of India lies in the fact that people's language, food habits, and lifestyle change every 100 kilometers, but the Constitution has kept 1.4 billion citizens united. He said that this is the Constitution's greatest strength and beauty.
He also said that attempts were made to prevent Baba Saheb from entering the Constituent Assembly. The caste system did not want him to reach the Constituent Assembly. Despite this, he made provisions in the Constitution that provided opportunities for the backward and disadvantaged classes to advance.
Dr. Rajratan Ambedkar said that Akhilesh Yadav is trying to unite various sections of society through the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority). If he can contribute even a little, he will be proud to have been involved in the fight to save the Constitution.
