Kalash Sthapana - The most important task on the day of Griha Pravesh is to do Kalash Sthapana. Fill a copper or clay Kalash with Gangajal, put some coins, rice, betel nut and mango leaves in it. Place a coconut on the mouth of the Kalash and tie it with a red cloth.

Ganesh Pujan - Lord Ganesha must be worshipped before Griha Pravesh. By doing this, all the obstacles in the house are removed and the work is completed without any hindrance.
