News Topical, Digital Desk : Late Thursday night, in Nepalapur, Kotwali Dehat, the lab operator's son shot a lab technician with his father's licensed revolver. The technician died on the spot. Police have taken the accused into custody. Police say the accused is mentally retarded and is undergoing treatment in Lucknow.

On Thursday night, Nepalpur police received information that lab technician Satish Yadav had committed suicide by shooting himself in the lab. When police arrived at the scene, they confirmed the murder. Police took Shivesh Singh, the lab operator's son, into custody. Shivesh said he shot Satish with his father's revolver. Sadar Circle Officer Neha Tripathi said Shivesh is mentally retarded.
