Ghaziabad : In the second phase under the CM Grid Scheme, the Municipal Corporation has started work on the plan to brighten eight roads of Trans Hindon. Eight roads of Trans Hindon have been marked. The local committee that selects roads for the CM Grid Scheme has given its final approval to it. It is proposed to spend about Rs 161 crore on this.

Two roads marked near Vaishali Sector-4 Shops Mall

Corporation Chief Engineer NK Chaudhary said that along the route from Dabur Tirahe to Kaushambi Bus Station, via Kaushambi, along with the road going to Ghazipur Border near EDM Mall, the road in front of Vaishali Sector-4 Shoppes Mall and two roads from Vaishali towards Ramprastha Green Society have been marked.

Apart from this, Kala Pathar Road in Indirapuram, the road going towards Gaud Green Avenue, the road going towards Sai Mandir via Abhikhand between Gyankhand and Nyaykhand. Also, two roads going towards CISF from Kala Pathar Road have been marked for development in the second phase under the CM Grid Scheme.

Lights will be installed by making footpaths on both sides of the road.

A drone survey of all these roads has also been done. The electric poles and wires passing over the road will be removed and laid underground. Cycle tracks will be built wherever needed. Footpaths will be built on both sides of the road, and lights will be installed, making the footpath very attractive. Benches and gazebo huts will be built at some distance for people to sit. Apart from this, parking and charging stations will be built for parking vehicles. Chief Engineer NK Chaudhary said that the project's DPR will be sent to the government for approval.

There, a committee of high officials will check the technical aspects and will also look at the standards set for marking the roads under the CM Grid scheme. After this, approval will be given. The roads will be selected under the scheme as soon as the government approves.

Work will be started on them. It is known that tenders have been floated to beautify two roads under the CM Grid Scheme. The tenders will be opened on August 6. After this, work orders will be issued and work will be started.
