New Delhi. Continuing its swift action in the NEET paper leak case, the CBI arrested three more accused in Jharkhand on Friday. These include Hazaribagh Oasis School principal Ehsan Ul Haq and vice principal Imtiyaz Alam.

The third person Jamaluddin works in a newspaper. His real brother is also a journalist. CBI arrested Jamaluddin after a long interrogation. This arrest has been made after getting concrete evidence of NEET paper leak from Hazaribagh. Investigation has confirmed that the photocopy of the paper which reached the solver gang in Patna was allotted to Oasis School.

CBI is interrogating the accused

CBI has taken all three accused to Patna where they will be presented in court on Saturday. For three days, CBI officials were questioning the principal, vice principal and others. It is believed that being the district coordinator of NEET, Ehsan Ul Haq had a lot of control over the paper distribution and other arrangements related to the exam.

The suspicion was further strengthened by the fact that the principal did not lodge a complaint despite the envelope containing the paper being cut from the bottom and the box in which it was kept being tampered with. The team also inspected the route through which the box containing NEET papers was transported from Ranchi to Hazaribagh via truck.

The CBI team has gone to Patna with question paper packets, boxes, mobile phones of the suspects, CCTV footage of bank and school, laptop and other equipment as evidence. Currently a team is camping in Hazaribagh.

Foreign tour after exams

CBI got information that immediately after the NEET exam, Ehsan Ul Haq had gone abroad and was in Bali for about a week. After getting information about his phone details before and after the exam, a Bihar connection was found. His contact with the arrested journalist was also found.

The members of the paper leak gang had also contacted several coaching institutes in Hazaribagh. Students were provided to the gang by them, from whom a huge amount was charged. The role of a professor is also suspicious in this.

CBI is connecting links in Patna

In Patna too, the CBI is busy connecting the dots of the paper leak. Chintu and Mukesh, who were taken on remand, took the names of Ashutosh and Manish Prakash, who were arrested on Thursday, during interrogation. Through them, the names of Prabhat, the landlord of the place where the candidates were staying, and his wife came to light.

According to sources, the CBI is preparing to take Manish and Ashutosh on five-day remand. On Friday, the CBI also inspected the hideout of another accused, Raki, and the Learn and Play School. This is the same place from where the half-burnt question paper was recovered, on the basis of which the investigation proceeded.

CBI will also interrogate the accused lodged in jail

Let us tell you, after Chintu's arrest from Devghar, there is talk of Rakhi fleeing to Nepal. CBI will interrogate 13 other accused lodged in jail from Saturday. Sources say that the investigating agency will also interrogate Ravi Atri lodged in Meerut jail.

Ravi's gang played an important role in leaking the paper from the border of Patna and Nalanda. The names of Atul Vats and Sanjeev Mukhiya, who worked with Ravi, are also included and are absconding.

Medical student also arrested from Rajasthan

In the case of dummy candidates in NEET exam, Delhi Police and Mumbai Crime Branch team on Friday arrested ten students of Government Medical College, Jhalawar, Rajasthan. Mumbai Crime Branch is questioning two. While eight were released on bail.

According to the information, the students had taken Rs 15 lakh each and appeared in the exam in place of the original candidates. All of them are residents of Rajasthan and are pursuing MBBS from the first year to internship.
