The stock market started on a good note on Tuesday. After heavy selling on Monday, the market opened in the green. Sensex opened at 78,019.80 with a gain of 54.81 points i.e. 0.07%. Nifty also opened at 23,679.90 today with a gain of 63.90 points i.e. 0.27%. Nifty Bank opened at 50061.20 with a gain of 139.20 points i.e. 0.28%.
During early trading on Tuesday, ONGC, Tata Consumer Products, HCL Tech, BPCL and Coal India stocks topped the Nifty's list of fastest-growing stocks. These stocks rose from 1.1% to 2.7%.
At the same time, M&M, NTPC, Apollo Hospitals and Axis Bank stocks topped the list of Nifty's weakest stocks. These stocks showed weakness ranging from 0.04% to 0.31%.
