Maha Kumbh 2025. The second Amrit Snan will take place on 29 January on the day of Mauni Amavasya in Prayagraj Maha Kumbh in Uttar Pradesh. Before this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has prayed specially for the saints and devotees. Through a post on the social media site, the CM has also wished everyone.

CM wrote- Hearty congratulations to all the revered saints, sadhaks and devotees participating in the Mahavrat of Mauni Amavasya in the great festival of Sanatan faith Mahakumbh-2025 and best wishes of Mauni Amavasya to the people of the state! Hearty congratulations to all the saints, Kalpvasis and devotees who have come to achieve the great virtue of 'Amrit Snan' in the divine-grand-digital Mahakumbh 2025 Prayagraj! May the blessings of Mother Ganga, Lord Bhaskar remain on all of you, all the countrymen remain united, this is my prayer.

Apart from this, the office of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath tweeted, "In the Maha Kumbh of faith, spirituality and Indian culture ' Mahakumbh -2025, Prayagraj', more than 4.83 crore devotees today and more than 14.76 crore devotees till now have earned the benefit of virtue by taking a dip of faith and devotion in the holy confluence. Congratulations to all the revered saints, more than 10 lakh Kalpavasis and devotees who became a part of virtue by bathing in the holy Triveni today!"

When will the bathing start?
The revised timetable of the traditional Amrit Snan of the Akharas has been released for the Mauni Amavasya bath. This timetable has been decided in the meeting held with the Akharas on 24 January 2025. Mela Adhikari Mahakumbh Shri Vijay Kiran Anand has released the order and time of the bathing.

According to the letter issued on 26 January 2025, the departure time from the camp for Shri Panchayati Akhara Mahanirvani and Shri Shambhu Panchayati Atal Akhara among the Sanyasi Akharas has been fixed at 04:00 am. Their arrival at the ghat will be at 05:00 am, and the bath will last for 40 minutes. After this, departure from the ghat will be at 05:40 and by 06:40 pm these Akharas will reach back to their camp. The departure time of Shri Taponidhi Panchayati Shri Niranjani Akhara and Shri Panchayati Akhara Anand from the camp is 4:50 am, their arrival at the ghat is 5:50 am, departure time from the ghat is 6:30 am and arrival time at the camp is 7:30 am. Similarly, Shri Panchdashnam Juna Akhara,

Departure time of Shri Panch Dashnam Aawahan Akhara and Shri Panchagni Akhara from the camp is 05:45 am, arrival time at the ghat is 6:45 am, departure time from the ghat is 7:25 am and arrival time at the camp is 8:30 am. Under Bairagi Akharas, All India Shri Panch Nirvani Ani Akhara will depart from the camp at 08:25 am, arrival time at the ghat is 09:25 am and after a 30-minute bath, departure time from the ghat is 09:55 am. This Akhara will return to its camp by 10:55 am.

This Akhara will take bath last.
Similarly, All India Shri Panch Digambar Ani Akhara will leave the camp at 9:05 am and will reach the Ghat at 10:05 am and after bathing, will leave for return from the Ghat at 10:55 am. It will return to the camp by 11:55 am. All India Shri Panch Nirmohi Ani Akhara will leave the camp at 10:05 am and will reach the Ghat at 11:05 am. It will return to the camp from the Ghat at 11:35 am. It will return to the camp at 12:35 pm.

Whereas under the Udasin Akharas, Shri Panchayati Naya Udasin Akhara will depart from the camp at 11:00 am, arrive at the ghat at 12:00 pm, return from the ghat after bathing at 12:55 pm and arrive at the camp at 13:55 pm. Apart from this, Shri Panchayati Akhara Bada Udasin Nirvana will depart from the camp at 12:05 pm, arrive at the ghat at 13:05 pm and return from the ghat to the camp at 14:05 pm and arrive at the camp at 15:05 pm. The departure time of Shri Panchayati Nirmal Akhara from the camp is 13:25 pm, arrival at the ghat at 14:25 pm and after bathing, departure time for return from the ghat is 15:05 pm and arrival at the camp at 15:55 pm.
