Vrindavan. A  huge crowd of devotees gathered at Thakur Bankebihari temple on Monday. The crowd was less in the morning, but in the evening, due to rain, there was some relief from the heat and the crowd swelled. 

The crowd in Thakur Bankebihari temple was normal in the morning due to the heat. The devotees took darshan comfortably. The doors of the temple opened again at 5:30 in the evening. During this time the sky was cloudy. After some time it rained and there was relief from the heat. In such a situation, the crowd gathered in the temple in the evening. At around eight in the night, there was a huge crowd of devotees from Thakur Bankebihari Chowki Marg to Vidyapeeth Chauraha.

Due to the sudden increase in the crowd at the gate number one of the temple, the humidity increased. 42-year-old Sonia, a resident of Faridabad, became ill at the gate after getting stuck in the crowd. She fainted. While 40-year-old Anju, a resident of Delhi, who reached inside the temple, also started feeling nervous. The devotees accompanying her brought her out in a semi-conscious state. Here the team of the health department treated her.

Haryana woman's health deteriorated

Apart from this, 65-year-old Vimala, a resident of Hisar in Haryana, also started feeling unwell. She fainted due to excessive heat. The team treated all three of them. They were given ORS solution and medicines. After their health improved at around 9 pm, they were sent to their destination.
