The police immediately took the accused to the hospital, where he was treated and then the police arrested him. Let us tell you that a policeman is also reported to be injured in this encounter. Let us tell you that before this, the joint team of Uttarakhand STF and police had killed Amarjit Singh alias Bittu, the main accused in the Baba Tarsem Singh murder case, in an encounter in Roorkee, the video of which was also released by the police.

After this, when the police was bringing him, the police vehicle overturned in a road accident in Kashipur. After this, Sarabjit Singh snatched the gun of the police and tried to escape from there. During this, the police asked Sarabjit Singh to surrender, but Sarabjit Singh started firing at the police. In retaliation, the police fired and Sarabjit Singh became a victim of police bullets. Sarabjit has been shot in both legs and at present he has been admitted to the hospital. A soldier has also been injured in this encounter, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital.
