UP News: In Meerut, fearless criminals challenged the police in broad daylight. Half a dozen criminals armed with weapons attacked a house. The criminals were standing outside the house and firing bullets and inside the family was scared and crying in terror. This incident is being seen as a challenge to the police.
This case is of Jaibhim Nagar of Bhavnapur police station area in Meerut's rural area. Govinda, who lives here, got into a fight with some goons a few days ago, for which a case was registered. It is alleged that angry with this, the goons attacked the house along with some goons. Bullets were being fired on the house one after the other. When the goon in front fired and retreated, the other goon started firing. The whole area was shaken by the sound of bullets and people hid in their homes.
They pelted stones and also attacked with sticks
The miscreants who spread terror and fear in Meerut's Jaibhim Nagar area were firing on one side while their companions were pelting stones at the house. After firing the bullets, the miscreants also attacked the house with sticks. They also tried to enter the house by breaking the gate. There is an atmosphere of chaos in the area due to this incident which happened in broad daylight. The miscreants came comfortably, fired bullets, threw stones and also attacked with sticks and went away after challenging the police.
Govinda's family is in panic, says there is a threat to their lives
When the miscreants were attacking Govind's house by firing bullets and throwing bricks, Govinda and his father Ramkumar were present in the house. Both were sitting scared and frightened in the house. Sounds of crying were coming from inside the house. Govinda and his father Ramkumar could not muster the courage to come out for a long time after the attackers ran away after firing bullets. On receiving the information, the police reached Jaibhim Nagar and surrounded the area. The police called out several times, only then Govinda and his father Ramkumar could muster the courage to come out of the house.
Police filed a case
The marks of this horrific incident are visible outside Govinda's house in Jaibhim Nagar area of Meerut. There are bullet marks on the main gate and walls and the police have also recovered several shells from the spot. CO Sadar Dehat Navina Shukla says that the police has taken possession of the CCTV footage and has registered a case on the basis of the victim's complaint and has started searching for the people who fired the shots.
