What is the whole matter?
On Monday, February 2nd, Rahul Gandhi raised the issue of Doklam and China during the debate on the President's address, drawing strong objection from Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. As Rahul Gandhi began referring to Doklam, Rajnath Singh pointed out that the subject was not mentioned in the President's address and that raising such issues was inconsistent with the rules.
He also questioned whether the book Rahul Gandhi is referring to has been published. Singh said that the book being referenced regarding former Army Chief General Naravane has not yet been published. Whether the book being referred to has been published or not remains to be seen. The Speaker also ruled that the statement cannot be read.
During the Lok Sabha debate, Rahul Gandhi questioned what was being hidden from the book being referenced and why the government was afraid of the report. He alleged that Chinese army tanks had entered Indian territory. He also said that he had not originally intended to raise the issue, but felt compelled to speak out after a young member questioned the Congress party's patriotism and understanding of Indian culture.
