Amethi Murder News: A major murder incident has come to light in Amethi, where an old man who had gone to the field this morning was first attacked by half a dozen goons with sticks and sharp weapons and then shot. The seriously injured old man was admitted to the district hospital where doctors declared him dead. The family has accused the police of negligence. The police have taken four accused into custody and started legal action.

Actually this whole case is of Pure Mangal Barehti village of Jamo police station area where 50 year old Ram Gopal son of Salikram, a resident of the village, had gone towards the fields at 7 am in the morning. Then half a dozen people including the opponent Sonu reached the spot and attacked Ram Gopal with sticks and sharp weapons. The goons are also accused of shooting. After carrying out the incident, all the accused fled from the spot.

After the death of her father, the daughter has made serious allegations against the police
. The daughter said that the opposition has attacked her family many times and whenever her father used to go to the police station with a complaint, the police used to make him sit there. Just 10 days ago, the accused attacked her two uncles in which their legs were broken but the police did not take any action. This morning when the father had gone to the field, the opposition ran after him and shot him, due to which he died.

As soon as the family got information about the incident, they reached the spot and took the seriously injured elderly person to Jamo CHC. He was referred to the district hospital in a critical condition, where the doctors declared him dead. As soon as the news of the elderly person's death was received, there was a stir among the police officials and Gauriganj CO Akhilesh Verma reached the spot for investigation. After the incident, the police have registered a case of attempt to murder against 6 named and four unknown persons on the complaint of the sister. The police have taken the four named accused into custody and started interrogation.
